Faking It with #41 by Piper Rayne

Here we have Mr Hockey Hottie Ford who we have seen as a Playboy and I would say a bit spoiled. First I should say that I was a little worried for this story because in my head Lena should be the only one in his life. Ford is a single dad and Lena is the family friend whose job is to basically put a cute bow on any situation with Ford family. This is a enemies to lovers, fake relationship, sports romance,single dad and I am pretty sure you will feel all bases are covered! Lena knows Ford is nothing but trouble but with time spent she starts to see a different side of him. I was anxious to see how Ford story was going to go. He was a bit of a wild one and to me he was not a favorite for me until I read his story. I should never doubt this author because they always surprise me. I loved Lena she was strong and sweet and she had a side to her that opened up Ford eyes to see some people have other sides to them. Ford I fell in love with. He won me over with his edginess and then his sweet side with his baby girl. The attraction is off the charts and Ford charisma will have you blushing and cheesing all the way to the end! Great read and a must one click!

Hard Luck is part of the Trophy Boyfriend series and involves a teammate crossing that teammate/sister boundary.

Mateo has been captivated by his teammates sister for a long time, and after one night with her, he can’t forget her. True is not having much luck in the dating department and thought one night wouldn’t hurt anything. Now she now has no place to live and on top of that it gets worse when she finds out she is preggers.

I loved these two characters together. True is trying to work out her emotions of how she will proceed now that in nine months she will be adding to her family. She has that emotional struggle and it had me kind of feeling for Mateo. He is all about family since he comes from a big family. I love that the two come together and their relationship and friendship grows.True has two brothers that are real entertainment and they alone will have you in stitches. It is not a instalove and I was glad for that. I love the banter with Mateo being crazy and overbearing at times and his Spanish family that just kept the story funny and light. I love these Trophy Boyfriends series so much!

Secretly hooking up with the team captain’s sister was a bad idea.

In my defense, the first time I saw her I didn’t know who she was.

College sports romance at its finest and it will have you swooning. Ginny finds herself at the same school as her hockey hot shot brother. She is fresh off a heartbreak and just ready to make friends and find her way in life. Heath meets his teammates/roommates sister and he thinks she is hot. Of course it’s not that easy. Ginny has walls up since her breakup has her shy to make a move and Heath has some past family issues that has him enjoying the hookup life since he started school. Ginny challenges him and keeps Heath on his toes. The more time they hang out and try the friend zones the more you see the sparks start to turn to flames.
I was happy to read this book because you get to see past characters and the friend dynamic among this group is fun and light. Heath I absolutely loved. You know we love to see that one guy fall to his knees for the heroine. Ginny is funny and smart and feisty in one little package. The chemistry is fire between these two and everytime I turn the page I get butterflies. Very well written with a great group of characters.

He is trying to live in his own shadow and not of his dad’s who was a hockey great and currently also a jerk.These two had major sparks that would melt the Ice. Their first meeting at the beginning of the book is hilarious and it continues through the whole book. This was a great read from Avery as always.

I just recently started reading books from this author and every time its been a hit. Surprise this was another great read for me. Sports romance is definitely a specialty for Rebecca. This one was a first for me as it involved the sport of Golf!

Keira was doing great on her golf team until one slip up that has changed her coaches demeanor and has left her watching from the sidelines. She knows that she is in the top three and she just needs her coach to realize it. She has one run in with swing coach hottie Lincoln Reeves and she is not a fan at first.

Lincoln helps the boys golf team and ends up meeting kiera which has him intrigued from first sight. He ends up taking her on as a client to help her get noticed by her coach and the more time they spend together there are more than golf clubs swinging! The only issue are the hangups that Lincoln has from his failed marriage. Can these two get a hole in one?

Definitely loved these two and lincoln had his moments where i wanted to give him a smack but i enjoyed the build between them. A must read!

I have been addicted to this series and a bit sad for the last book in the This Is series. Hockey romances have been a delight coming from Natasha. This story was a nice mix of two people on different paths and in a blink of an eye the path can change. Caroline us a single mom working hard for her son who is so adorable in this story. Finances are tight but she is excited when her son gets a chance for a hockey camp for free.

Justin is carefree and likes to payback with the sport that he loves and of course it is in his DNA. He is not looking for anything until single mom Caroline shows up at his camp that he puts on. The attraction is immediate but Justin is already trying to cook up ideas to try to win Caroline over.

The romance is sweet and the way Justin is with Dylan will have your ovaries swooning. The story had a great flow and the family of Justin from the past books is a delight. A great read that will have you smiling till the end!

Get BLITZED

I have read all the books in this series and I have enjoyed them immensely. Brynn own the bar where all the wives of the Mustang football team hang out. All the ladies have become close and it’s nice to see old characters from the other books. Brynn has some past issues with abandonment but she is a strong character. Maxwell is quiet and shy despite being a big guy on the team. He has had a thing for Brynn and the ladies think it’s time for Brynn to get a man especially by the name of Maxwell. He himself has some trouble and it adds a little more issues for a happily ever after. This is a slow burn that was cute and Maxwell was adorable. this one fell a little slow for me, but I did enjoy it Overall.

At the knock, I grab the cash and open the door.

“Hi.”

My mouth drops open and my eyes grow wide. “Julian?” I stammer. “What are you doing here?”

“I wanted to see my girl.” He holds up the takeout bag. “I have food.”

I snatch the bag, then step into the hall, looking around. “Nope. Don’t see your girl anywhere.”

He nods, striding over to where I stand with two dishes in my hands.

“I am hungry, but not for food.”

Julian extends his arms and places them onto the countertop, caging me in. He leans toward my neck and inhales, making my eyes close. “You smell good.”

“I just showered,” I reply breathlessly, desperate to maintain my composure, quickly losing the battle.

His body flush against mine, his erection presses into my stomach as he dots the skin of my neck with soft kisses until he reaches the corner of my mouth.

“I love you,” he murmurs.

My body stiffens and eyes shoot open. I shake my head as I try to refute his words, but he covers my lips with his, staking his claim. I feel the flames ignite in the pit of my belly as he clutches my face, deepening the kiss. My lips part, welcoming his tongue into my mouth.

Now she must face Julian and things are about to get live! The chemistry was sweet between these two even though at times, Addison was frustrating. The navigating of old feelings with the new wrapped in a football theme was great. This was a great second chance romance. Must read.

Funny, quirky, Awk-weird, yep all of these make this book a hit for me!

First let’s mention the cover that is super cute and funny. This is book two in the Ice Knights series which is a hockey team(Book one Parental Guidance is out now) that we meet Cole at his fellow teammate and friends wedding. There he meets Awk-Weird Tess who loves to spew trivia facts especially when nervous. Tess is refreshing and funny and says the funniest facts so not only is this a romance but you learn great little facts to share! Tess and Cole meet and end up enjoying their night. Fast forward to present where there is a lasting gift that both Tess and Cole will have to see how to Co parent. Throw in some complications and the chemistry starts brewing between these two but Tess does have some insecurities that will keep Cole just far away enough that will have him questioning everything. Can these two finally iron everything out and be happy? I loved this story it had great characters and not to mention there are hockey players so what else could you want. Great 5 star read and I would highly recommend this series or as a matter of fact any book from this author is a hit.

I am a Sara Ney fan so I was very excited for this one. Jackson was sweet and rocking that southern twang. Charlie is feisty and funny. These two together have cute banter. Things happen when you are not looking for it. They both try to fight their attraction but we all know how that usually turns out.

Jackson has it all right now. He is well respected on campus and could have his pick of the women. Only thing is he wants no distractions and the focus is on his football life. What happens when after a chance mtg over a chicken sandwich life starts to take you on a new path. Charlie is starving but cant believe this southern big lug who has taken the food right out of her hand! After a couple more run ins with Jackson and she wants to dislike him but sees her self falling for him. Will Jackson be able to make room for Charlie?
