Nowadays self-published books are giving traditional published books a run for their money. I have been getting introduced to the Indie books (self-published) for the past year and from what I can see, these books are so worth the .99-5.99 you will spend. Most self published books are in E-book only format but don’t let that discourage you, many go on to do so well that they come out in paperback later on. You’ll find some ones that we love and some that we want to spotlight. Most are New Adult (which is a cross between adult and young adult), but check back often because they are always changing. Most of the books I have read, some are on my list but all are worth it!
The Bet Rachel Van Dyken-$2.99
“I have a proposition for you.” Kacey should have run the minute those words left Seattle millionaire Jake Titus’s mouth. It’s been years since Kacey’s seen her childhood friend Jake, but the minute Jake mentions his ill grandmother, Kacey is ready to do anything for the sweet old woman. And if that means pretending they’re engaged for her sake-so be it.
But Kacey wasn’t counting on Jake’s older brother Travis still being there. She calls him “Satan” for a reason: she’s never forgotten the way he teased and taunted her. Yet when they meet again, Travis’s gorgeous smile is a direct hit to her heart . . . and Kacey’s more confused than ever. As the days pass, only one thing starts to become alarmingly clear-she never should have accepted Jake’s deal …
*5 out of 5 stars I loved this book!
Wide Spaces by Shelly Crane-$2.99
Emma knows better than most that life can change from one second to the next. Mason knows that guilt can make you change so much, that you don’t even recognize yourself in the mirror. When they found each other, they knew that life had given them a second chance.
But can one night, one second, one misunderstanding change everything?
A life together that saved them will become a life they think is lost forever.

I Love everything Shelly writes and I know this will not disappoint.
Sweet Home by Tillie Cole-$2.99
She knows Descartes and Kant.
She knows academia and Oxford.
She knows that the people who love you leave you.
She knows how to be alone.
But when Molly leaves England’s grey skies behind to start a new life at the University of Alabama, she finds that she has a lot to learn—she didn’t know a summer could be so hot, she didn’t know students could be so intimidating, and she certainly didn’t know just how much the folks of Alabama love their football.
When a chance encounter with notorious star quarterback, Romeo Prince, leaves her unable to think of anything but his chocolate-brown eyes, dirty-blond hair and perfect physique, Molly soon realizes that her quiet, solitary life is about to dramatically change forever…

I like some indie authors, and I can see why self publishing is becoming popular but I need two things a pretty cover and a well edited story, and then I will read it 🙂 Some of my favorite books are self published but some of the worst I have read are also self pub. I mostly read traditionally published books though but I will pick up a self pub book if it comes highly recommended.
