I have been awaiting this book for awhile and I was nervous and excited all at the same time. I have read each book of The Bailey family and I have loved each one. It’s been a great series and I wanted to savor this last book in the series. I always think man is this next book better? Piper Rayne never disappoints! Here we have the story of Sedona and Jamison who we have seen sneak peaks of in the other books and finally we get to see how their story goes. Sedona has come home after leaving Jamison and hoping that he would clean up his life. After some time Jamison crashes a family event to try to win his family back. He sees his daughter and a very pregnant Sedona!!! Now he must try to see if he can mend his relationship with his daughter and show her some love.
Sedona is one strong independent woman and she has been through some drama including leaving the love of her life and making the decision she thought was best when she was pregnant. Now she is trying to work through life with a toddler and navigate her overwhelming family. She named her daughter Palmer and she is deaf. Palmer wins your heart from the start. I love the bond she develops with her dad. At first I was team Sedona all the way! Jamison once you hear his story and all of the demons he has worked through you slowly start to open your heart for him. It crushes him to see Sedona pregnant as he wanted to be together again. I was rooting for them all the way. This book has all the feels and deals with alcohol abuse and child with an impairment and it will have you crying and laughing! Sad to see the end of the Bailey’s but glad this book was a great end!

I am so addicted to this series, I need it to never end! I love these characters, this family, and this book. I absolutely adore how strong and independent Jessica is, all while she embraces her life as a prominent Lady of society and without compromising her new found sense of self. After making the decision to marry this season with or without love, her steadfast refusal to be viewed as simply a title with proper training has endeared her to my heart forever. I’m so very glad that the author wasn’t afraid to allow Jessica to have and acknowledge her darker feelings of jealousy, betrayal, and being left behind (all of which are natural, once you know her back story) rather than setting the time line of the book ahead far enough that it could be assumed she had moved past them. Seeing that facet of a character’s personality truly makes them stand out in my eyes. In a series such as this, with so many characters it is Mary Balogh’s ability to make each one unique that keeps readers coming back for more.

Lady Jessica Archer, daughter of the Duke of Netherby, is determined that this is the season she will really look for a husband. Sure she has had several admirers through the years but none of them have ever stirred romantic feelings in her heart. The hope/excitement/heartbreak journey that Harlow takes, I FELT on a personal level. When the author can take you and your emotions along for the same ride as the character is huge for me. When they laughed, I laughed out loud and when Harlow cried, I cried hard. That, I feel, Is the sign of a good book.

I am excited to see more of the Omega Skies flight attendants journey’s into love!

Book number 2 of The Union of the Rakes series was such a fun read! The characters are very charming and have everything I have come to expect from Eva Leigh’s leading couples. I love how even though this book is part of a series it can 100% stand alone. This book follows the story of a young lady’s companion as she fights to save her family business. She has determination, drive, and brains, now if only she had an investor. Her search for that investor leads her to the Marquess of Trask’s Bazaar and the very handsome Duke of Rotherby. Willing to do anything to save McGale & McGale Soap she risks it all to gain entry to the Bazaar. Will her risks pay off or will her truth be discovered causing her to lose it all? Jessica McGale, lady’s companion to Lady Catherton, made a promise to her mother on her deathbed that she would take care of her siblings and make the family business a success. Sweet romance that buds between Alex and Gavin. After they Collide, literally, they have a PG friends to lovers path that will hopefully lead to a HEA. They both are hardworking and fun to be around. Alex (Alexis) was a bit flighty at times but the relationship that these two build up is perfect YA material. These two are cute together but i was hoping for a bit more angst. Alexis is trying to spread her wings from being at home with all her family. I did feel that their romance developed really quickly. Overall it was cute but fell a little short for me.

This is a new author to me and i really enjoyed her writing style.

Chari runs into billionaire and local celebrity Enzo at her brothers celebration. To her he is a crush but also her brothers best friend. Enzo wants Chari after their encounter and he is ready to fight for his best friends sister. These two will have to overcome several obstacles including the distance since they both live in diffrent area codes and also getting the blesdinh of dearest brother. Chari was a strong character but had some insecurities to work out. Enzo was this powerful local celebrity with a side of sexiness. The chemistry between these two was scorching. The storyline had a great flow, just the right amount of heat and strong characters were enough to make me a fan. Cant wait to see whats next!

I was so excited for this book because it was the final one and it was set to be THE BEST ONE and it was!!

The storyline picked up exactly where it left off, Brighton is recovering after her terrible and horrible ordeal and just got some rather shocking news. While she tries to navigate her flashbacks of what’s real and she also has to deal with her feeling for Caden and the future they will have. She knows what the right thing is but her heart…well that’s a different story. But obviously someone wants her gone and the list of people who are capable of it is long.

I loved that in this story the King, Caden, Kind of said YOLO and went with what was in his heart and DARED someone to questions him. He had no qualms about pursuing things with Brighton, and she was the one who put a stop to it this time. That was a twist, but I understood where she was coming from and why. The friendship that she forms with Tink in this made me Love him(I previously didn’t) and it was jut what and who she needed to help her through this.

This particular trope that Jennifer had bought us with this last novella in the seires happens to be ONE OF MY FAVORITE TROPES EVER! So this, in my mind, was perfect!

I was able to riddle out the whodoneit in the end but not predicted the ending. I am sad to see this world ending though and it makes me want to re-read the Wicked series all over again.

This New to Me Autho, was a cute and funny read. Perfect length for me. Alcohol and Vegas equals lots of mischief. Carrie is in Vegas for a girls getaway before she and her co workers have to deal with the layoffs at work now that it will be under new management. She gets separated from her friends and meets James. One night of fun mixed with some alcohol and Carrie now has a new last name and a shiny piece of jewelry on her hand. Turns out the new management is now also her new husband.

Carrie was funny and sweet and just trying to figure out what would be next after a horrible past relationship that leaves her with understandable trust issues. James was cute and broody at times. The relationship between these two was flirty and I enjoyed their banter. James was playing for keeps while Carrie was at arms length. It was fun to see these two fall in love.

Joanna Shupe has done it again! Another amazing book that is a great closing to her Uptown Girls series. As you all know this series follows the Greene sisters as they buck tradition and forge their own ways and find love in the streets of New York. Three sisters, three books, each one with their own unique personality and story. These leading ladies are inspirational. They are game changers and social justice warriors and I love them equally for it. The men who win over their hearts are equally as endearing and work to make change in the world right along with the women they love. I adore this book and LOVE this series, and am sad it has ended but I cannot wait to see what adventures the next series will bring.

I thought I loved the first 2 books in The Bareknuckle Bastards series but WOW this one takes it to a completely different level! You wanna talk about my weakness for strong leading ladies? Sarah MacLean’s Grace/Dahlia has completely brought me to heel. I am so enamored with this incredibly strong, powerful, self-made woman who is the queen of her world that I don’t know how I am going to come to terms with this being the last book in the series. I think I am still kind of in denial about it. Such an incredible heroine requires an equally incredible story to show case everything that makes her so amazing and this book with its darkness, plot twists, and unexpected romance leaves nothing behind.

She literally fought to build her current life and her success while being hunted by the demons of her past.
