What other authors so often fail, MJ championed in this book: in many books this long process of will they/won’t they is just too long and after some time it loses the whole appeal, but here… it was not flat or boring for a second, it was all the time gripping and had you on the tips of your toes.
Altogether, the book has made a fascinating, steamy… quick read. Why quick? Well, because I couldn’t put it down, so engrossed was I in Megan and Luc’s lives. It is a brilliant love story written with a lot of feeling and understanding…. MJ Summers can really write a hot romance with great characters in it, full of misunderstandings, twist and turns, heartbreaks and hurt but still with a lot of joy and that is a great entertainment. I have really enjoyed this book and will be keeping my eye on MJ Summers in the future.

Not That Easy was a fun book to read. It had an entertaining social aspect that will make good conversation at parties or for game night. Ellie had some face palm moments that made me groan to think of a grown woman making these comments or choices. She definitely lucked out in some aspect, I won’t embellish so I won’t reveal too many spoilers, but all in all, she definitely came out on top; bah dum tsssh. I did think that some of the things that happened to her were not that believable,( I mean i’ve heard of unlucky, but come on!)but once I looked past that it became a fun fall read! I also want to give a big high five to Radhika Sanghani on her editing. I have had too many books lately that have not see the light of spell check.

Autumn Thorns is a wonderful book with an interesting plot. I don’t personally think that I will read any sequel, but that would be because ghosts and spirits kinda freak me out; Shadow Man, yeeaaughh! This book is so well put together that I got chills at some points and could not read in bed at night, which I love to do. Kerris embraced her destiny and kept her personality with her to lead her through it. If she had “changed due to circumstance” I don’t think she would be as successful as she was. She has a support system and takes advantage of it in a way you don’t see in too many highly powerful/magical heroines. She doesn’t “I’m the chosen one to stand alone” anything and accepts help as she can.

This book has some nice detail to it, Yasmine Galenorn put some thought into her supernatural world that shows through it its layers. Thank you for this book , I really enjoyed it.

J Wylde is hands down the MC QUEEN each story is so different but ties into not only the previous book before it but the one to come after it. Each one is unique, raw and gritty and still ties in as a whole to the others! Painter and Melanie have an explosive relationship that last over 7 years(I think) and while I hated the long drawn out relationship(simply because I’m impatient) it worked for them and this story. Painter Levi Brooks had nothing to lose so he did all the dangerous things for the club and didn’t think twice about it, until he did have something to lose.

I loved seeing the other characters from all the previous books and J Wylde interwove the next story( I’m thinking Gage’s story) into this one but left enough out to have us(me) itching for the next!
I think I’m obsessed with MC reads because of her! Another great one!

Stacy started to walk up to a woman sitting behind a large desk, but when she began to speak, a tall man appearing out of nowhere interrupted her. I turned slightly, pulling my eyes off of the hideous art, only to be faced with the most beautiful creature I had ever seen. Yes, creature, because there was no way the man standing in front of me was an actual human being. Maybe a mirage? I was really hungry. Maybe my blood sugar had dropped so low that I was hallucinating sex gods.

As I neared where Stacy and the sex god were standing, I realized I wasn’t unconscious and only dreaming about the delicious man candy in front of me. Nope, he was real. I could reach out and touch him if I wanted to. And I really wanted to. But I didn’t. I don’t know how I managed to keep my hands to myself, but I did. Go me!

He had to be at least 6’3”, maybe taller. Dark hair, a little longer on the top, perfect for running your fingers through. Dark eyes that could weaken the knees of all womankind and intimidate even the most powerful men. Chiseled, sharp features defined a face that, if he were scowling, would make him extremely terrifying, but he was smiling. A small dimple on his left cheek made his gorgeous face look more than adorable.

I’m pretty sure I died for a couple of minutes. Someone should have checked my pulse, or given me CPR. I’m confident that I stopped breathing. I’d never seen someone so perfect in real life. I literally wiped drool from my chin. Yep. I was drooling. Luckily no one was paying attention to me. How could they? The example of magical, manly perfection that was standing before me had pulled everyone’s attention right to him, and I was pretty sure I wasn’t the only one drooling.

And yes, you heard me right. Magical. The only way a man could be this stunningly perfect would be from the assistance of some kind of fairy godmother or a higher being.

Oh shit, I’d been standing there staring for God knows how long. Being caught staring was enough to make me feel embarrassed and vulnerable, especially when I noticed the smirk on his face. I only felt like an idiot for about two seconds though. Any time I felt any sort of ‘weak’ emotion I quickly replaced it with anger and bitchiness, a defense mechanism I had perfected over the years that ended up biting me in the ass every single time, but I was too stubborn to change.

I forced myself to tear my eyes away from his body, mostly because if I didn’t then I wouldn’t be able to stop trying to picture him naked. His eyes seemed like a safer option. So I looked up at him, right into his soul searching, will power devouring, panty dropping eyes. I was strong, I could resist him. Or at the very least, I was good at pretending.

That’s right, buddy. I’m immune to your tricks. I know I don’t know him, but I know guys like him. They know exactly how sexy they are and they think they can melt the panties right off of any woman they deem worthy of their charm. And let’s be real, if I wasn’t so messed up, my panties wouldn’t have melted, they would have gone up in flames. Unfortunately for him, my panties were fireproof when it came to his kind. No matter how devastatingly handsome they were.

Go ahead, slick, give it your best shot. Flash me those pearly whites.

Right on cue, he flashed me a grin that probably would have most women creaming their pants on the spot, as he held his hand out, expecting me to grab on for a friendly shake. I’m sure he thought that as soon as we touched I would swoon. Probably expected me to sigh dreamily and flutter my eyelashes at him. So despite my raising body temperature, shaky legs and quivering sex, I did what I do best.
