This is a great semi sports romance, I say semi because while there was sports it’s not enough to be a ‘sports’ romance. Flynn is a football star on Sunday’s and then a hot restaurant owner on the other days of the week, living life and entertaining the ladies. This is all Flynn is thinking about until his eyes are opened by the new not chef of his restaurant! Enter Amelia! First, let me say I quite smoking over 5 years ago but man I wanted to light up, this story will make you want to light up and share a cig with your crush even if neither of you smoke! The way Katy wrote Callen and Olivia’s first meeting around sharing a cigarette was both sexy and mysterious and threw me back to the days where If I liked someone who smoked, sharing a cig with them was the highest form of flirting and she captured it so well.

Olivia is as green to the world and men like Callen as they come, bright eyes and a bit of naivety at times, but she is Tahoe’s sister, and works for Callen and that causes some issues to arise, but not the ones that people may think. Olivia has a plan for life, but when she meets the sexy hot smoker guy, her plans are….

Thier relationship spanned over time, I say this all the time about Katy’s work because she makes you fall in love with the Hero as much if not at the same time as the Heroin every time and this was no exception. Plus Callen is just plain sexy, from his smoking to his words.

I really enjoyed this book! I have other books by Samantha Young that were a hit for me so this should have not come as a surprise that I loved this one too!

I loved the mystery and behind Jessica and her family as well as her choice of work and the ease of Copper even though he was dealing with past issues(ex-wife) as well.

The small little town of Heartwell made me want to go seek it out and live there! I loved all the characters int is (with he exception of a few)( and all the mystery behind some of the characters. Everyone was was well developed weather it be a side character or a main one and the chemistry between Coop and Jessica? outstanding(pun for those who read the book intended).

I will def be re-reading this one and hope that this is not a stand alone! I am obsessed with this town and the people in it and want to know more!

The premise of the book sounded exciting and a wicked, but once I read it, it felt off to me.  From the beginning I was a little lost and really did not enjoy the start of the book. I felt that it really did not have depth to start between the characters.I did like the hole peeping neighbor thing at first, but then it kinda bordered on stalkerish. Once the H and h meet the chemistry between the two is a bit dry and it seemed like the plot was all over the place, or I just didn’t get it.. I will say that the sexual scenes between the H&h are very hot! The story lost me along the way but towards the end I did enjoy them together but by then I was already at the end of the book. It did not hold my interest  but I have enjoyed other books by this author this one just fell flat for me.

I’ve long been a fan of Katy’s, from Real to Ladies Man and I’ve loved them all. Mr. President is no different. I was worried that would be a political romance with a bunch of words and terms id have to look up, but after reading the authors not,  my worry was at ease.  I won’t bore you with what you can read room the blurp and just dive right in.

Simply loved it!

 You ever read a book that was just plain sexy? not the characters(which he is) but the story is just sexy, this is that book for me and I don’t mean sex, there’s that, but this book wrapped me up into a world full of stolen moments, touches and steamy passion and it left one word on my brain…sexy. Even the cover is sexy!!

I was pulled in from the very first line, until the last. Katy has this way with writing characters that grab you, make you feel what they are feeling and take you on whatever rollercoaster ride they are on too. 

And man does she know how to write a charismatic male in a suite. Pretty sure that’s her specialty. 

“…..a single independent man can’t effectively run the country. I have a wife, and her name is the United States of America.”

I especially like the political innuendos she referenced:

“Every person that I know, every person conscious of themselves and their potentials…all want to make an impact, a contribution, to work on something that matters to us.”

I could go on and on with fabulous quotes and sexy one liners but bottom line is this book is such a win for me i’m giving it my covetous 6 star rating!

Way to go Katy as usual you rocked this one!

When I first read the description I thought; Suspense mixed in with a little erotica/BDSM  is a recipe for a great book! and at first I was all in, A relationship that never took off before was potentially getting  a second chance to blossom. Maybe. That  is if the secret that Megan is trying to protect won’t hurt their chances! The only reason for her to keep going is to find out  who is behind the secret demands. The chemistry with her and Luke was palpable and the scenes were hot, but sadly after that this is were it lost me a bit, it got a little draggy and I found myself stopping a lot throughout reading it. Fantastic read, just not for me.

I have held on and worked my way through from book #1.  The first five books of the Undead Series were so amazing that I had trouble with the change up and darker perspective that we were warned was coming.  But this is what it all lead to and I loved it!  Loose ends were tied up; which irritates me to no end when something big is left hanging.  Comeuppances were had, good and bad, happy and sad.  I can’t say a lot without giving away the story line, but I can’t say that I am sad of the series being completed.  Ms Davidson has a wonderful finale to a much loved series and I am happy to have been with them at the end.

After four books of Deborah Blakes, I can confidently say that I love her books.  Starting with the Baba Yaga Novels, I intensely enjoyed this spin off with the Broken Riders.  I have not thought of them while reading of Brenna, Beka, and Bella because I am a very “in the moment” type of person, but Mikhail’s story drew me in and kept me there waiting on more from his brothers and their hardships.

               As charming as Day is supposed to be, I feel that he is too perfect of a fit for Jenna to have been spread around as he is alluded to have been.  They fit like they were made for each other and no one else in the world could come between them; even when they don’t get along.

               Jenna jumps into her problem in a way that is admirable from someone that isn’t too sure that they wouldn’t have just given up everything to begin with.  She is a fantastically strong character.
