I have been a fan of Darynda and the Charley Davidson series since the very first one and i’m happy to say that while there have been a few misses in the series, this one was a HIT!
We have Charley who sent her beloved to a hell dimension, at his request and couldn’t get him back. When he finally did emerge he had changed.
Murders started happening
Everyone was convinced her once rammed husband had turned back into the evil and manevlent God from whence he came
Everyone except Charley.
She refuses to believe that her husband, the father of her child is gone, lost to the evil God Rayzekeem.
Even though he’s acting as if he hates her, as well as he is tormenting others to find something, something he needs.
Mixed into this main story line is, as always, about three more things for Charley to solve. Murder, missing school supplies and a few conversations with THE MAN himself.
But what really sold me, as if i wasn’t before, was the ending! Man, Dayrnda knows how to pack a punch!
Charley’s story is far from over and I am loving it!

This the first book by this author that I’ve read and I was excited because the plot sounded good.
Marco is returning from the military after being away from home since an accident that left his best friend hurt and him feeling like he needed to straighten up! What he didn’t expect was to meet Kat on the side of the road. Kat is attracted to her shining knight that helps her when her car breaks down. What they both don’t know is that they have something in common…..Or rather Someone.
Kat works for Adamo company and Marco is an heir to the company, Marco really likes Kat but when secrets from the past come around and threats she didn’t know existed arise will she still see Marco as her shining knight? This book plot fell a little flat for my taste. It [the plot] felt a little forced and the out of know where ‘twist’ didn’t really go well, IMO with the story line. I could see where the author wanted the story to go, it just didn’t make it, at least for me, unfortunately.

Lexi Lawton is a new author to me so I’m always a little skeptical because I’m a creature of habit, but the cover is niiiiice, so I figure, sure.  Kylie’s moving to college and of course to start her first day off right her personals (granny panties and thongs) go all over the lawn. Enter sexy Xander. Kylie is a virgin but she’s ready for Xander to show her some moves. Because Xander had a past issue with a girl and now he wants to take things slow with Kylie, so he’s not really rushing to take her V card.  As life starts to blow up in his world Xander will have to try to figure out if he can make things work or will Kylie be left behind.   The sparks between these two fly right away with the banter being cute, fun and sexy.  I love the college romance! Xander is sexy sweet and Kylie is a great balance for him! This is a must read!

It’s always interesting when you read an author that you are not familiar with. You never know what to expect. But I am a cover whore and the first thing to intrigue me was the cover! The cover is appealing and clearly you can tell this is a sport romance and Ding, Ding, Ding! I am a sucker for a sports romance now add to that a hockey romance and I have to a least check it out.

This Story has all key components that I love in a sports romance. First, you have Alex who has just been traded to a new team . He is sexy, cocky and funny and everyone likes him especially the ladies!

” I don’t break hearts, i break headboards.”

You have Brie who has it all; she is pretty, wealthy and a great job! Little does Alex know that the director of the charity that he is trying to volunteer for is Brie.  The plot makes you want to keep turning the pages so much I didn’t even want to go to sleep! The story that builds between these two is sweet. They both annoy each other but we all know what that means when the boy is mean or bothers you in school? Yep, there are feelings that are about to get involved. Alex has a past that slowly Brie is trying to unravel but Alex does not know if he can open up. Throw in a troubled teen off the streets and the story is heartwarming.  The chemistry right away is funny and sexy.  You really feel for the characters. This book is refreshing and it hit a jackpot with me! I’ve found a new author to love and I can’t wait to read the others in the series!

This is my first time reading from this author and the description at first glance called out to me because second-chance romance is my book jam! You have Claire who has made a new life for herself in a new town after leaving behind the love of her life five years prior. She sees A flyer for a band that will be playing at her friends bar and decided to give into her friends demands and ‘have fun’. Surprise to Claire that the eyes that she looks into on stage is no other than her ex whom she left a drunken mess, Ryan! Ryan can’t believe that he is now face to face with the one that got away due to his demons and has been haunted by her for 5 years. He is now on the mission to talk to her, to understand why she left and is totally caught off guard when he see’s a picture of Claire’s daughter!!??(Not a spoiler) HIS daughter!

Ryan isn’t sure he want’s to be a father and Claire, she isn’t sure she is over Ryan and now all the emotions are rushing back. The interaction started off timid and sweet, Claire isn’t the burned man hating women you’d think she be after what she thought went down with her and Ryan all those years ago, and Ryan, is a changed man. The chemistry they had took me a little while to believe, but when it happened it HAPPENED! The passion was off the charts and the interaction with them as a family was sweet and awkward and I loved it.
I am fairly certain this is an author I will read again!

I’m still reeling. While people approach him, he cuts a path straight to me, his gaze penetrating and target-like; making me want to bolt.

“No.” I glare and shake my head, meeting his cocky gaze. “You’re reckless, Racer.”

“So are you, Alana.”

“It’s just … Lana.”

His brows fly up in surprise. “And a bit of a liar too.”

I purse my lips, still glaring as my gaze goes back to his car. Girls are rubbing against it as if it were him, and I find it disgusting. Why are women always acting so slutty around race car drivers and bad boys?

“You crashed your car,” I say flippantly.

“You crashed my car,” he contradicts, amused.

I laugh, then scowl in his direction. “You crashed it more. I can’t believe you were making such a fuss about me crashing into you when it was just a little kiss—”

He leans in to peck my lips—fast but firmly. “That’s a kiss.”

I lose my breath.

My eyes wide.

He eases back, lips smiling as he comes to his feet and stretches his hand out to take me by the elbow and help me to my feet.

I have long since been a huge fan of Katy Evans and it all started with one guy, one beast of a man..Remington Tate. Now, Remy has a son and WOW, he is every bit of his father’s son.

“I’m going to be your man, you better not play games with me.”

Like wow right?!

Talk about Uber confident, he is waaay more cocky than his father and I couldn’t love it more.

Lana, our chick, is trying very hard to get her families name back out there in racing Formula 1 cars and she is desperate for a driver that will help her do this, especially before her ailing father loses all hope. Enter Racer who upon seeing her knew that Lana was “The One.”

“I’m Racer Tate and this girl is mine.”

Lana, however is not too sure, but she is drawn to Racer like she has never been drawn to anyone before, including her first love who died tragically.

I knew this story was going to cause me to have palpitations out the wazoo, because Duh, it’s Katy Evans and what does she do best? Cause palpitations with her very descriptive style of writing that pulls you in on bated breath. What I didn’t expect, and really that’s stupid on me is the emotion that left a lump in my throat on scenes with Racer and his father.

I mean, if you have read the first three books in the Real series and that were about Remy and Brooke, then you know that Remy is an emotional beast and the love and concern he has for his son was pouring off the page in those scenes.

Needless to say, Katy killed this story, like legit killed it and I have to say, it was so worth the wait! Great Job Katy, this series, this couple, this family has and will remain my greatest love.

First, I have to say that I am a huge fan of this series and I can tell you, this one does not disappoint! Rhett is a new book bookboyfriend you will love like I did. He’s sweet, nerdy, athletic and clueless about girls. With the body of an adonis, but the face of, well….not the rest his sheer overall clueness made you fall hard for him. Laurel is beautiful and your typical college girl, all about the fun, and responding to an ad to give some poor guy his big O is right up her alley.  The friendship that builds between these two is sweet and innocent and the chemistry is definitely off the charts!

Its nice to see past characters in the book make an appearance. And I have to say this book was a refresher from the others, I love the twist Sara put it there. If you are a fan of the series, trust me you won’t be disappointed in this book!

Forsaken by the Night is a novella in the Moonbound Vampire clan books and the 3rd story of love. I was totally unaware that this was a series when I dived in and I can tell you it didin”t take away from the story plot at all. We meet Lobo who was banished from Moonbound for more or less being what he is, which is a skinwalker and when his wolf that he has cared fro for 12 years in injured, he does what he promised he’d never do again to save her. Then, she wakes up human and all sorts of crazy just happens afterwards.
This story was chocked full of info but not in overpowering way, but in small doses. I was intrigued by the other characters in the story and went back and got the fist two and read those. After having read all three, this is a great little move along piece to whet fans appetite for the next book in the series!

               Not to give away anything you can’t guess already, because hey, she is a teen and they typically do the same things, but her willfulness to prove herself without wanting or seeking out consultation is downright irritating.  I mean, c’mon!  Brand new into this magical world, please accept your limitations.  No one is trying to exclude you from the good stuff so accept that some things can do more harm than good!

               This series is still one of my favorites, but I was not too sure of this book. I am highly anticipating the release of the last Rider’s book.
