Fuck me once, I’ll fuck you twice … then I’ll bury you.
No prison can keep me from seeking revenge. Especially when it comes to her.
She, the woman who put me in jail.
I swore that I’d come for her, to claim what belongs to me: Her life.
I’m not a good man. On the contrary, I love to be bad. It’s in my veins. Just like it’s in my veins to ruin her.
She’s an actress, pretending to be a saint, but we both know that isn’t true. One way or another, she’ll pay for what she did.
I will hunt for her. Make her fear me. Make her body mine.
Bad deeds never go unpunished … And I always go out with a bang.

Ayda Hanagan’s life took a whole new road to hell when she agreed to lay down beside Babylon’s very own devil in disguise, Drew Tucker. With an evolving love and the world she once knew now gone forever, Ayda’s toes were no longer dancing on the edge of the flames. She’d jumped straight into the fire, dragging her younger brother, Tate, along for the ride. No matter which way they both turned, Harleys and leather were their new reality, and they had to get used to the fact that acts of war and bad blood were never far away. All that seemed so easy for Ayda to push aside when she was resting in the arms of the man she never expected to love, but when lust, need and sex became as important to her as the air she breathed, it was only going to be a matter of time before reality decided to slap her around the face harder than ever before.
Lost in the screwed-up perfection of their new fairytale, Drew and Ayda thought they could handle anything life threw at them. For every cop, whore or enemy that tried to tear them apart, they found strength in each other and a new weapon to fight back with. Only not all assassins wore their patches on their chest, and before they could even see the eyes of the wolves in the shadows waiting to bring them to their knees, they were all out of places to run.
With everything they’d ever believed in suddenly at risk, fear was no longer an option and Drew and Ayda soon found themselves in the middle of a war that looked impossible to get out of alive. In order to survive, they had to learn how to fight together.
Without restriction.
Without thought.
Without mercy.
Even if that meant sacrificing everything they’d worked for, including each other.

EVERY LAST BREATH Synopsis:
Some loves will last ’til your dying breath
Every choice has consequences—but seventeen-year-old Layla faces tougher choices than most. Light or darkness. Wickedly sexy demon prince Roth, or Zayne, the gorgeous, protective Warden she never thought could be hers. Hardest of all, Layla has to decide which side of herself to trust.
Layla has a new problem, too. A Lilin—the deadliest of demons—has been unleashed, wreaking havoc on those around her…including her best friend. To keep Sam from a fate much, much worse than death, Layla must strike a deal with the enemy while saving her city—and her race—from destruction.
Torn between two worlds and two different boys, Layla has no certainties, least of all survival, especially when an old bargain comes back to haunt them all. But sometimes, when secrets are everywhere and the truth seems unknowable, you have to listen to your heart, pick a side—and then fight like hell…

WHITE HOT KISS synopsis:
One kiss could be the last.
Seventeen-year-old Layla just wants to be normal. But with a kiss that kills anything with a soul, she’s anything but normal. Half demon, half gargoyle, Layla has abilities no one else possesses.
Raised among the Wardens—a race of gargoyles tasked with hunting demons and keeping humanity safe—Layla tries to fit in, but that means hiding her own dark side from those she loves the most. Especially Zayne, the swoon-worthy, incredibly gorgeous and completely off-limits Warden she’s crushed on since forever.
Then she meets Roth—a tattooed, sinfully hot demon who claims to know all her secrets. Layla knows she should stay away, but she’s not sure she wants to—especially when that whole no-kissing thing isn’t an issue, considering Roth has no soul.
But when Layla discovers she’s the reason for the violent demon uprising, trusting Roth could not only ruin her chances with Zayne…it could brand her a traitor to her family. Worse yet, it could become a one-way ticket to the end of the world.
STONE COLD TOUCH Synopsis:
Every touch has its price
Layla Shaw is trying to pick up the pieces of her shattered life—no easy task for a seventeen-year-old who’s pretty sure things can’t get worse. Her impossibly gorgeous best friend, Zayne, is forever off-limits thanks to the mysterious powers of her soul-stealing kiss. The Warden clan that has always protected her is suddenly keeping dangerous secrets. And she can barely think about Roth, the wickedly hot demon prince who understood her in ways no one else could.
But sometimes rock bottom is only the beginning. Because suddenly Layla’s powers begin to evolve, and she’s offered a tantalizing taste of what has always been forbidden. Then, when she least expects it, Roth returns, bringing news that could change her world forever. She’s finally getting what she always wanted, but with hell literally breaking loose and the body count adding up, the price may be higher than Layla is willing to pay…
“Constantly entertaining…the narrative sizzles with as much tension as romance.”
—Kirkus Reviews on White Hot Kiss

BITTER SWEET LOVE Synopsis:
In a sizzling prequel novella to her new series The Dark Elements, #1 New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout draws readers into the extraordinary, irresistible world of Wardens and demons.
Dez wasn’t just Jasmine’s crush. A gargoyle Warden like Jas, he helped her come to terms with her destiny—fending off demons and maintaining the balance between good and evil. He was her everything…right until the moment he disappeared without a trace. It didn’t help that Jas’s father had just announced that she and Dez would one day be mated. Hard not to take that personally.
And now he’s back, three years older, ten times hotter, ready to pick up exactly where they left off. But Jas isn’t taking that risk again. Dez has seven days to meet all her conditions and earn back her trust. Seven days filled with terrifying danger and sweet temptation. Seven days to win her heart—or shatter it all over again…
“With her signature flare for combining humor, romance and action, Armentrout weaves a fast-paced read that will have readers’ hearts racing in more ways than one. Like Armentrout’s previous heroines, Jasmine is fun and full of attitude, while Dez is as snarky as he is sexy. This is a must read for new and old fans alike!” –RT Book Reviews

Fourteen months. For fourteen months, Puck Redhouse sat in a cell and kept his mouth shut, protecting the Silver Bastards MC from their enemies. Then he was free and it was time for his reward—full membership in the club, along with a party to celebrate. That’s when he saw Becca Jones for the first time and set everything in motion. Before the night ended he’d violated his parole and stolen her away from everything she knew.
Five years. It was five years ago that Puck destroyed Becca and saved her all in one night. She’s been terrified of him ever since, but she’s even more terrified of the monsters he still protects her from… But Becca refuses to let fear control her. She’s living her life and moving forward, until she gets a phone call from the past she can’t ignore. She has to go back, and there’s only one man she can trust to go with her—the ex-con biker who rescued her once before.
Puck will help her again, but this time it’ll be on his terms. No more lies, no more tears, and no more holding back what he really wants.
I have been a fan of Joanna Wylde ever since Reapers stand and having gone back and read the first two I was hooked little monkey.
We meet puck a little in reapers stand and get a glimpse at the then prospect and in jail. Now after serving his time he is out and a full member of the Silver Bastards, which is not a bunch of old bastard men, contrary to what I might have thought. On the night of his release Puck meets Becca, a shy girl whom he wanted to have a good time with but something seemed off about the whole thing. Oh, they have a good time, great in fact, but then afterwards, shit got real in a effed up way which made Puck make a decision that changed Becca’s life forever.
Five years later and Becca has grown into a very independent person, living on her own, going to school and holding down a job, yet she never got Puck Redhouse out of her head the man who saved her life and terrified her all on the same night, and continues to terrify her. Over years Puck has kinda been lurking in the background, making his presence known but not bothersome and for Becca its nice knowing that he is still looking out for her should she ever need it. Not that she will, Becca is a little of a firecracker.

I thought this story would be a disaster, especially with how it started, which I have to say Joanna did a very good job at telling that story without giving too much away up front and not having this reader feel gross until after it was over and then it was like ahhh, damn. Puck and Becca have some serious issues to work out and people and obstacles to overcome, themselves included, and at times I wondered if their story would ever be fixed!

I think this is the first book in a while that I felt closer to the male character than the female(what the does that say about me)? Puck is so in your face, as I’m sure all bikers are, that you appreciate him for telling you like it is, even if it is in an asshole kinda way. I also loved the set up for hopefully Mel and Painters story and man if I thought this one was volatile I don’t think I will be able to handle theirs!
I LOVED EVERY MINUTE of this book, the writing and the plot and the side characters were all written in a way that was meant to captivate you, which it did! I thought I had initially started on it when I got it that night just to read the first few pages, but I was hooked after the first few sentences and read more than half the book in the first night! I wanted to savour this book but it was just so good I couldn’t stop reading!

Regan : I never really knew what misery was until the day I was kidnapped and sold for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Two months later, I’m at a brothel in Rio when I meet Daniel Hays. He says he’s here to save me, but can I trust him? All I know of him are his sarcastic retorts and his tendency to solve every dispute with his gun. He’s also the only safe thing in my world, and I know it’s wrong to fall in love with him, but I can’t seem to help myself. He says he’ll protect me until his last breath, but I don’t know if I should believe him or even if I can.
Daniel: For the last eighteen months, one goal has dictated every action I’ve taken. I’ve left the Army, turned paid hit man, and befriended criminals all across the globe to find my kidnapped sister. In every brothel I raid and every human trafficking truck I stop, I hope the next face I find is my sister’s. In a hidden brothel in Rio, I find Regan Porter, bruised but not broken, and still sane despite her weeks in captivity. I should leave her behind or send her home, because the last thing either of us needs right now is to get involved. But with every passing minute, I find I’m less able to let her go.
This book starts off so incredibly sad. Regan has been sold into human trafficking for the last two months and has almost given up hope, almost. Until an america. Stranger shows up and buys her.she thinks great another man to tattoo me, but is shocked when said man takes her to the American embassy.only Regan is too scared of being sold again and her trust is null and void after everything she has been through, so she begs this american stranger Daniel, to let her stay with him until she is showered and decent. Daniel agrees but after he is with her he realizes that she needs him far more than he thought so he helps her feel safe the only way he knows how, with a gun.

Daniel, ex-army, sniper, hit man for hire is doing his buddy Nick a favor by searching and finding nicks roommate and friend who was in the wrong place at the wrong time and was sold into human trafficking by some angry russians. He was supposed to find her retuwher to the embassy then start searching for his sister who he feared had suffered the same fate when she went missing. But one look at Regan and he knows why she was sild. He finds her dirty used and hopeless, but also breathtakingly beautiful. He knows he should leave her alone, but when the people he got her from start coming after him, he knows this wont be an easy retrieval mission as he thought. At some point I was literally on the edge of my seat and I could totally picture this as a really good action movie

This book is my favorite of the series so far, it was so different than Nick and Daisy story, where theirs was sweet and innocent, Daniel and regan was raw and gritty in the best way possible. I will be the first to say I was a skeptical sally when it came to this story line, no way was someone who had been sold into sex slavery and raped repeatedly would WANT to have any kind of sex or not be affected by it, and while Regan is affected, she is by no means a broken women either. The chemistry between the two of them was hot tamale train hot!

Toward the end I was ready for Naomi and Vasily’s story so much due to getting a small glimpse from this one and that story line too make’s me a little skeptical, but after Last Breath I have no doubt that the story will be anything less than great as well.
