I COULD NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN!!! I was drawn in to the story from the first page. This was not your typical historical romance in any way. In this book, the scandal that brings the couple together falls on the male lead rather than the female and I love it. I love seeing how the hero overcame his rough start in life to make a name for himself. But my favorite part of this book is the plot twist towards the end, HOLY COW!! I was completely blindsided in an awesome way. This is an outstanding book that I will read many more times.
